If the federal government passes its industrial relations act and forces universities to comply with it, then communication emails like this one will cease. This is another danger of allowing this legislation to be forced on universities. The university will be obliged to cease any use of Murdoch's facilities for the union. This would include emails, phones, offices, etc.
This legislation is indeed very frightening for universities.
