[Muanet] Large May Day Marches in Queensland

Dear Members

There have already been a number of May Day marches in Queensland this
week, with the Brisbane march attracting up to 35,000, about 3 times as
big as last years march and much larger than the 20,000 that the
Queensland Council of Unions had initially hoped to attract. The marches
in Queensland's regional centres have also been much bigger than recent
years with 1000 in Blackwater, 1200 in Toowoomba, 700 in Ipswich and
1000 in Gold Coast, 4000 people in Townsville.
