style='font-size:12.0pt'>I just received an email from Jeremy Smith, the Branch
President at UB. He said that the branch has been successful in defeating the
second attempt at a non-union ballot. </span>The margin was slightly closer
this time. 323 voted for, 401 against and 503 did not vote. This was a tougher
one to beat back and the margin dropped from 58-55% of those who voted. While
this is an important victory the UB branch is expecting admin to make a
significant push to shift staff onto AWAs.</font></p>
