<b>Launch of political Alumni network <br><br>

</b><font size=2>The University of Adelaide will launch an Alumni network

in Parliament House, Canberra this evening.<br><br>

It is believed to be the first political Alumni group to be established

by an Australian university and was initiated by Senator Stott Despoja in

conjunction with the University of Adelaide. <br><br>

Founding members of the group will include Deputy Prime Minister, Hon

Julia Gillard MP, and Deputy Opposition Leader, Hon Julie Bishop

MP.<br><br>

The University of Adelaide’s Federal Parliamentary Alumni Network will be

officially launched by University of Adelaide Vice-Chancellor, Professor

James McWha at 6:30pm tonight.<br><br>

Senator Stott Despoja will speak about the new network, its purpose and

the Alumni advisory committee<br>
