For those concerned about the death in custody of Mulrinji Doomadgee on Palm Island in 2004 and the fact that subsequently, no charges have been laid against the police officer, despite the Deputy Coroner's findings that Doomadgee's fatal injuries had been caused by the police officer, the Deaths in Custody Watch Committee Inc is organising a rally in Perth.
