I've just received this urgent call for for solidarity from Indonesia. Please read, respond 
and circulate to your networks.

Dear Comrades

I have just received an urgent appeal by SMS from Katarina Pujiastuti,
International Relations Officer for the National Liberation Party of
Unity, PAPERNAS, in Indonesia. PAPERNAS presidential election
candidate and former union leader Dita Indah Sari is at the venue and has
appealed for urgent international solidarity.

The regional conference of PAPERNAS in East Java has been broken into 
by 100 members of Front Anti Komunis Indonesia (FAKI) militia. Fighting is currently 
occuring between conference participants and FAKI.
 
FAKI is the same militia group that attacked the founding conference of PAPERNAS 
in early January.
 
PAPERNAS is asking for international solidarity: 

1. Fax your protest to East Java Police Headquarters at +62217218141

2. You can also call up or send text messages to Chief Police General
Sutanto at +62818315703

Urge the Indonesian police to act immediately to stop the mob attack
against PAPERNAS meeting.
