Salary Range: $53,470 - $60,217, + 17% Super + Packaging

The Institutional Research Consultancy Unit (IRCU), as part of RMIT's Planning Group, has been established to lead and manage a team in the development, maintenance and delivery of a range of institutional research reports required by the Vice-Chancellor's Executive (VCE) project teams. 

The principal function of the IRCU is to co-ordinate the collection, organisation, and analysis of institutional and other related information to support institutional management, operations, decision-making and planning functions of RMIT University.  

The IRCU seeks applicants for a full-time, continuing position as Data Analyst.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for the provision of timely and efficient quantitative analyses, and be responsible for maintaining and analysing large and complex databases to support the research and analytical capabilities of the IRCU.  The position is also responsible for undertaking analyses of a large number of surveys; working with externally validated datasets.  The incumbent will also be involved in the integration of a number of performance measurement instruments, as well as liaising with other units within the University and external agencies to ensure effective undertaking of educational research.
