UTS is a leader of Australian Universities in the use of Business 
Intelligence to support executive decision making and is now  entering a 
new phase of innovation, drawing on new Reporting & Enterprise Planning 
tools to deliver a high level of sophisticated reporting across the 
University.

We are currently seeking a Reporting and Analysis Co-ordinator to 
provide a range of critical university-wide information reporting and 
analysis services while contributing to the University's strategic 
decision making and planning processes. 

Playing a key role, you will act as the main liaison between UTS and 
DEST, as collection co-ordinator for all of the statistical collections 
covering students, staff, finances and research data.   In addition you 
will also be involved in a number high profile projects, building an 
integrated BI capacity across the University and introducing innovative 
Enterprise Planning tools.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your 
analytical skills to assist in managing student load and projection in a 
complex operating environment. The successful individual will have 
advanced skills in turning data into management information to support 
and influence executive decision-making.

It would be advantageous if you had previous experience in the higher 
education sector in Australia, some knowledge of the Australian 
Government Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) 
statistical reporting requirements and the implementation issues of the 
Higher Education Support Act (2003).

Based close to Central Station UTS is at the hub of the transport

Salary range: $78,919 to $80,797 pa (from May 2007) plus 17% 
superannuation.
