The Planning and Quality Unit spent some time last year working on offshore versions of our 2 standard instruments - Subject Feedback Survey, and Student Satisfaction Survey (this evaluates the learning environment) however, it was finally decided that as we needed to demonstrate that off and on shore courses were equivalent in all areas, we should use the same instruments as onshore - the SFS and SSS. To my knowledge, the SFS is now used widely for offshore, but the SSS isnt as it really is not appropriate to many offshore learning environments.  If you want more details , you could contact Antoine.Goarin at uts.edu.au, or look at the Planning and Quality Unit website.- there is a set of draft QA Guidelines for Offshore that you may be interested in on this website as well.
