At Curtin we set their course status to 'Under examination' and set their
load to zero for the remainder of the period.

Hi Wendy
At the U of Melbourne they are deemed to be "registered" only, i.e. they are
removed from active enrolment and incur no fees or load. They only become
active again if they have to resubmit and do major rewrites. At this stage
they are not course completions either so don't get reported until they have
completed all requirements of the course
